Foster parents look at the available applications when their foster corgis are ready to be adopted. If a good match can't be found in the existing application pool, the dogs are then posted on Petfinder.com. Check our "available" page after you've submitted your application as there might be dogs listed that you would be interested in, but for some reason that didn't come out on your application. Often times an application is very specific about some criteria, like age, and a foster parent won't contact you because their foster dog does not meet that criteria. This is an example of why it is best not to get too specific in what you are looking for. If you say you are only interested in a dog 2 years or younger we won't contact you about that really charming 3 year old that just came in.
